The Drama that started it all: MY NAME IS KIM SAM SOON!

It was January 2010 and i was, sadly, unemployed... DEPPRESSED and really down.... so, I started watching a lot of TV. And in channel 11 (SERTV) there was a pretty funny korean series about a 30yr old korean pastry chef that was looking for love and found it in the oddest place possible...

Incredibly I was hooked since the beginning: i absolutely loved the lead guy Sam-Shik (Hyun Bin) and his always crazy relationship with a foul-mouthed woman that NEVER stopped saying what she wanted and struggling to get her dreams.

Sam Soon was old (hmmm, to korean standards, because I´m 30 and I dont feel old at all), fat (again to korean standards because Sam Soon is just a little pudgy) and was just dumped by her boyfriend, so to everyone she was just a big looser. She NEVER EVER felt like one and kept on trying to get what she wanted.  She's a great inspiration to us all.  WE LOVE SAM SOON!

You've Fallen for Me...

This drama started on June 29th and it was a total hit for me! The music, the relationship between Lee Shin and Lee Kyu Won... both bands, The Stupid and The Windflowers and also the gukak -vs- rock thing... i dont know why, but i absolutely LOVE this drama.

The story is pretty easy, a guy (called Lee Shin) is an applied music major, member of a band called "The Stupid" in an arts oriented university and on the other hand, Lee Kyu Won is a gukak (traditional korean music) student that goes there too. At first sight, cool and arrogant Shin is a pill for Kyu Won, but slowly this is starting to change...

Right now we are in episode 7 and waiting for the 8th... sadly, actress Park Shin Hye suffered a car accident, according to the news on the internet and tonight its airing a special of the series.
